I have got to Advanced App Settings but there is no Choose where to get apps
Why don't I have the app and features in settings?

I have a Windows 11 and I'm trying to change the app recommendation setting but I don't know how because I don't have app and features.

So go to your download folder where the app is and right click, go to properties.
Under 'General' go to the bottom where it says Security and click on the 'unblock' button, then apply and ok.
Continue through any pop ups and bobs your uncle you're in!!! <3<3 this was also driving me utterly bonkers as to why i couldn't download adobe illustrator!!!!!!!
Hope this helps at least one other person!

YES!!!!!!!!! omg ive been trying to figure this out for two days now your little part of info worked. so i unblocked the app like you said then went to run the program it then said i needed to click this see how to continue to run this program it brought me to something called S mode and said once i turned it off i couldnt turn it back on again but its like a safe mode. i turned it off and now its working!! god all this just to play sims lol

Microsoft is making it extremely difficult to use anything other than their products. I chose microsoft over apple because of this very issue. If Microsoft will no longer allow me to select what ever apps I would like from the web, I will change to a mac.
So far, every website has given directions that did not have one of features such as above.
I do NOT want to be limited.
Please tell me how I can remove app recommendations from my computer!
