I keep getting notification that I have an update to install, but when I try to install the update, I get this error message:

What is going on? Nothing seems to work.

    I too have had this problem for months now. I've tried to hide the updates but this doesn't help as only one of the two hides. I've also tried:

    1. Running updates through HP Smart
    2. Runninig the Windows System>Troubleshoot > Other Troubshooters
    3. Renaming the ReportingEvents file in C:\WIndows\SoftwareDistribution

    Is there a fix for this?

    This doesn't work for me. I've hidden the update but it still shows as an update I can download/install and gives me the error message "Install error - 0x80070103"

    I have the same problem and I am NOT going to download a file from some random person.... sorry but the baddies of the world has ruined any trust I have. I would like to have a fix made from Microsoft or HP as I KNOW we are not the only two.

    There is probably an error with this driver update.

    In that case, I suggest you hide it from Windows Update so that it doesn't keep causing this error.

    So it doesn't show up on Windows Update.

    The following file is available for download from the Website and should work on Windows 11:[Link removed]

    When you click the download link, you will be asked to open or save wushowhide.diagcab.

    Opening wushowhide.diagcab will start troubleshooting. Click next to proceed and follow the troubleshooting instructions to hide the problematic driver or update.
