I keep getting notification that I have an update to install, but when I try to install the update, I get this error message:

Here is my system:

What is going on? Nothing seems to work.

Windows for home | Windows 11 | Windows update

    Thank you all for your help. I've tried to:

    1. Pause Updates for 1 Week
    2. Click Resume Updates

    And

    1. Run wushowhide, Hide, Click both updates, waited until it said fixed
    2. Pause Updates for 1 Week
    3. Click Resume Updates

    In both cases, Windows Updates run normally but the HP USB updates displayed again. If anyone has additional suggestions or if I missed something, please let me know. In the meantime, I've Paused Updated for 1 Week and am going to leave it paused for a few days then try again.

    Pause the updates and search again.

    This fixed this issue for me. Just pause, and unpause - nothing else. No troubleshooting, no clicking links from unknown websites...

    Seems that this update was removed by MS, and by pausing and unpausing WinUpdate cache is cleared, so it no longer appears there.

    The solution works. But you need to pause the updates and search for updates again.
