Error 207 AMD Software Installation Completed Successfully but Windows Detected a Potential Issue with Your Graphics Device. Anybody know a solution?

I’m having the same problem, but I have a Radeon RX 570 Series how would I go about fixing the problem? I can’t load American truck simulator.

It says

This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load a the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)

And when loading the game it doesn’t let it load and says

American Truck Simulator is having a problem and is unable to draw graphics on your computer (no valid graphics device was found.

Suggested steps:

1. Check that your computer and video card meet the minimum hardware requirements.

2. Update your computer to the latest version of Microsoft's Directk.

3. Download and install the latest graphics drivers for your video card from your vendors' website - your graphics drivers are likely out of date.

4. Try changing the rendering method from OpenGl to Directi or vice versa.

5. Delete the game configuration file 'config.cig' in your

'Documents' - 'American Truck Simulator' folder. It may have become corrupted.

This file will be automatically re-created with valid default values on next game launch.

I had the same issue, for me, removing the graphics card's entry from the device manager and uninstalling any amd graphics driver and then installing a fresh one fixed it.
