How to change volume bar from middle bottom to top left on the screen

Hi, usually on my screen's display, when I pressed the volume button on the keyboard, the volume bar will show on my screen at the top left. However, I accidentally pressed a lot of buttons, and the volume bar change from top left of the screen to the middle bottom of screen.

How do I change it back to the top left of screen? Thank you.

    That happened to me too. In my case it was a combination of the most recent Windows Update (KB5029263) and running ExplorerPatcher (third-party tool) to get a Win10-style taskbar. If you use ExplorerPatcher, this might also apply to you. A discussion of this is on two "issues" on Github:

    Both threads start out with a lot of chatter about unstable preview updates, but if you scroll down on either or both, you'll see that some people (including me - I'm "OsakaWebbie" on the first thread) have the problem without installing any previews.

    So if you're running ExplorerPatcher, this might be your issue, too.

    I uninstalled KB5029263 and when Windows Update tried to install it again, I paused updates for a week. For some unexplained reason (which makes me happy) WU says it's paused until 9/19 (over a month) instead of just a week - that will give ExplorerPatcher's developers more time to fix it (or perhaps Windows will have another update that fixes it). If it's not fixed by then, I'll either try the suggested workaround (installing a utility from the MS store called ModernFlyouts, which otherwise does nothing, because the "modern flyout" it would create is the one we're stuck with now - the main topic of this thread!) or just live without the volume bar. I'm not willing to give up on the main reason I use ExplorerPatcher's Win10 taskbar, which is to be able to put the taskbar on the side of the display instead of the bottom - the ability to move the taskbar is yet another good feature that was mysteriously removed in Windows 11.

    I would like to change from middle bottom to top left too.

    Dev team validating this overlay are freaking idiots.

    Subs, video slider, why the hell would you want an overlay to mask this ? Why ?
