No option to open Device and Printers in control panel in Windows 11 22h2

In previous versions of windows 11 and windows 10, I was able to access the devices and printers options from control panel instead of settings. Now the devices and printers from control panel opens the settings, which lack some options, especially the option to turn on or off handsfree telephony for Bluetooth devices. Is there anyway to access this option in windows 11 22h2?

Hi there,

In Windows 11 22H2 and higher, the old Devices and Printers interface can still be accessed by running the following command from the Run dialog.

  • shell:::{A8A91A66-3A7D-4424-8D24-04E180695C7A}

Optionally, you can add "Devices and Printers (Classic)" to the Control Panel.

Download devices-and-printers-classic-cpl.reg and apply the REG file.

You'll see the following option in the Control Panel.

    Another option via batch file:

    1. Open Notepad
    2. Enter the following lines

    @echo off

    c:\windows\explorer.exe shell:::{A8A91A66-3A7D-4424-8D24-04E180695C7A}

    exit

    1. Save the file as DevicesPrintersWindow.bat
    2. Double-Click the file

    Option 1:

    Open Devices and Printers window by following the steps below:

    1. Click Start, type Settings then click on Bluetooth and Devices
    2. Click on “Printers and Scanners”
    3. Click on a printer such as “Microsoft Print to PDF”
    4. Scroll down and click “Hardware Properties”
    5. Click the Settings tab on the window that opens.
    6. Click on Devices and Printers Folder.

    Option 2:

    1. Save the following string in a text file so you can access it and copy it easily:
    • shell:::{A8A91A66-3A7D-4424-8D24-04E180695C7A}
    1. Click Win+R and paste the string into the Open field and press OK
