Windows 11 - Snipping Tool issue with multiple monitors with different Scale Settings

On Windows 11, if you have multiple monitors with different scale settings and resolutions, the snipping tool doesn't work properly. What happens is the smallest monitor's resolution determines what portion of the other monitors can be snipped. For example, I have three monitors on my Surface Laptop 4, the primary is 2496 x 1664 and is set to 150%. The second is 1920 x 1080 and at 100%. Third is 3440 x 1440 at 100%. When I hit print screen, it only greys out a portion of the first and third monitor. And the second isn't even greyed out at all. I've determined that if I put the all the monitors at the same scale, say 100%, the snipping tool works fine. It's only when one of them is different that the snipping tool doesn't work. Also, it doesn't matter if it's three monitors. This happens to me when I have only two monitors connected. I'm just using my current setup as an example.

This has been a problem since Windows 11 was released.

I might have found a quick fix to this issue. I just 'repair' and 'reset' my 'Snipping Tool', and now it can screenshot the entire screen correctly.

Apps>Installed Apps>Snipping Tool

Under Reset, Use the 'Reset" and 'Repair'.

    Based on my testing, using the snipping tool on desktops with different zoom ratios does have your encounters. This is precisely because of the limitation of font proportions on desktops with different scaling ratios.

    Unfortunately, there is currently no direct solution to this issue, and I recommend that you refer to the Feedback Hub page and submit your suggestions along with screenshots/video reproductions of the problem (if possible) through feedback so that we can investigate the issue.

    Thanks for your response, @Manson. With all due respect though, what is the purpose of this forum if it's not for Feedback? And isn't this the job of the Microsoft Community Support Specialists to submit a ticket for issues posted by the community to this forum that have been confirmed? Why should I have to do that when I've already brought it to the attention of a Microsoft Employee on a MS forum?

    You're right. However, in order to solve a problem, evidence (such as pictures and videos) that can reproduce the problem is needed. The engineers who collect BUG problems will conduct tests based on the feedback from users to restore the problem and determine the source of the problem. Every user has different needs and opinions for the Windows system, and everyone may encounter different problems, which is the significance of the existence of feedback function.

    In fact, if you can provide screenshots and videos of your question in this thread (which you can share with us via OneDrive, Google Drive, or other means), I can submit your feedback for you, and once submitted I will post the link in a follow-up response so that other users with the same question can click "Me too".
