It looks like the WAMPSERVER fix is throwing PHP errors on line 99, 120 and 55 for the getweather.php file. I am thinking this might be due to a change in the data string from Weatherbit ???

Below is an updated version of getweather.php. It works around weatherbit.io changing their free forecasts from 16 days to 7 days.

  1. Download file
  2. Update your weatherbit.io key in the file.
  3. Copy to c:/wamp/www/ folder to replace existing getweather.php

    Thanks so much for your work on this….great fix…..very easy directions and file replacement. This little device has become a staple in my house for years now…everyone uses it to see daily high and lows for the week. Thank you again!!!

    Much gratitude here, too. Saved the old getweather.php script on my desktop as getweatherOLD.php for reference and copied my weatherbit.io key from there. Copied, pasted, ran and the 5-Day updated right away.

    Was ready to blame a Windows Update for this and glad you were able to find the real root cause. Also glad MSFT lets us work things out this way.

    Offer to Zelle or PayPal still good, too.

    I have the updates now showing on the 5 day forecast on the computer but have waited one day for the data to transmit on the weather station. Am I missing something?

    Did you exit WampServer (turn off) and then turn on again?

    Did you unplug USB dongle (the small box device that plugs into PC) and wait 10 seconds and plug back in?
