Sharper Image Weather Station EC-WS115 not updating ***Again*** 10/19/22

It looks like the WAMPSERVER fix is throwing PHP errors on line 99, 120 and 55 for the getweather.php file. I am thinking this might be due to a change in the data string from Weatherbit ???

Below is an updated version of getweather.php. It works around weatherbit.io changing their free forecasts from 16 days to 7 days.

  1. Download file
  2. Update your weatherbit.io key in the file.
  3. Copy to c:/wamp/www/ folder to replace existing getweather.php

    I updated the getweather file located in Windows C drive>wamp> www folder where several php files are located.

    I copied the new code into the getweather php file and saved and added API key and then restarted WAMP server.

    So far no update transmitted for the two days of missing weather data on EC-WS115

    Did your EC-WS115 update quickly with the missing data? Did I update the correct php file in the correct folder?

    Yes, that is the correct folder. Try to Open and close your 5-day forecast program on your computer, which updated immediately for me. The EC-WS115 took several minutes to update

    I noticed the workaround from Casper3275's old code did not have a line space after the first line. The api key code was immediately underneath.

    This new code as displayed in the image below has a line space before the api key. This image has my api key

    Does it make a difference?

    I am unsure why it is not updating. I have restarted the 5 day forecast program several times.
