Sharper Image Weather Station EC-WS115 not updating ***Again*** 10/19/22

It looks like the WAMPSERVER fix is throwing PHP errors on line 99, 120 and 55 for the getweather.php file. I am thinking this might be due to a change in the data string from Weatherbit ???

Below is an updated version of getweather.php. It works around weatherbit.io changing their free forecasts from 16 days to 7 days.

  1. Download file
  2. Update your weatherbit.io key in the file.
  3. Copy to c:/wamp/www/ folder to replace existing getweather.php

    maybe your API key was not typed or placed correctly in the code. Double check your API and that it is wrapped in the single quotes:

    $api_key = 'Your weatherbit.io key here';

    also, you can check to see if your API is working by adding the key to the end of the below URL and hit enter. The page should reload with all of the weather data in a long data string.

    http://api.weatherbit.io/v2.0/forecast/daily?city=porltand,OR&key=

    Hello John,

    Same issue here. Day two of no update from Wampserver to EC-WS115.

    Casper3275 developed the fix about two years ago. Were you a part of this forum where the fix was posted?
