Windows 11 reboots itself - Annoying!

My laptop turns on automatically AFTER it has been turned off. The laptop continues to reboot itself multiple times (I can hear it connecting & disconnecting as my bluetooth speaker announces every time my laptop switches on & off by itself). Ultimately the battery drains out. I am yet to find a fix for this, :( :(

I have FOUND the FIX. After trying 10 over suggestions and none of them work, this one suggestion hidden among many suggestions finally works. It is simple and the rationale makes a lot of sense.

The FIX

• got to settings > systems > power
• under Power mode change this to Balanced

And you can now enjoy leaving your computer idle.

Rationale

This problem only affects destktops because laptops/notebooks have a battery to buffer sudden demand of power. And this happens when Win11 tries to put you into sleep mode.

Of couse, another approach is to set sleep to Never. I did both ;-)

For those who are suffering from this issue, please reply to confirm if it works for you. And please state if you are using a desktop or laptop. I would like to confirm if my observations are correct.

To install the Local Group Policy Editor in Windows 10 Home edition, open a command prompt as administrator and run two one-line commands in sequence:

FOR %F IN ("%SystemRoot%\servicing\Packages\Microsoft-Windows-GroupPolicy-ClientTools-Package~*.mum") DO (DISM /Online /NoRestart /Add-Package:"%F")FOR %F IN ("%SystemRoot%\servicing\Packages\Microsoft-Windows-GroupPolicy-ClientExtensions-Package~*.mum") DO (DISM /Online /NoRestart /Add-Package:"%F")

That doesn't sound like an update issue--updates don't occur anywhere near that often. Check the Windows System Event log for warnings/errors as this sounds like a crash issue. Also, disable auto-restart after crashes. It's the very first reply on this question.

Please try to disable automatic restart:
1.Launch Settings.
2.Go to System > About.
3.From Related links, select Advanced system settings.
4.In the System Properties window, open the Advanced tab and click Settings below Startup and recovery.
5.Below System failure, uncheck Automatically restart.
6.Click OK to save your new system settings.

Same thing is happening but in windows 10 ltsc 2021, but not exactly the same. It shuts down any time it wants, sometimes just as as the desktop loads, or sometimes while browsing, or while installing or using heavy programs like fusion 360, Photoshop etc.
