BrusbSib.sys incompatible driver

Any clue how to remove BrusbSib.sys incompatible driver. So I can turn on memory integrity? There is no OEM number like the other 2 I deleted. There hasn’t been any brothers printers used in over a year and I have deleted everything in reference to the printer. I have looked everywhere to see if something is hidden and I can’t find anything. Much needed help appreciated! :(

    Hello KRM1970,

    I had same issue like yours, though my PC is only 2 y.o. After gone thru all steps, finally I am able to sort out my problem and I hope the following steps will help yours too:

    • I also had another incompatible driver "BrUsbSib.sys" which shows relating to "oem33.inf", in addition to the one listed on your picture
    • first, go to "Turn Windows features on or off" and ensure "Virtual Machine Platform" and "Windows Hypervisor Platform" being ticked. PC will be restarted after this step
    • then go to "Device Manager", under "View" tab select "Device by driver". the "pem33.inf" comes up, I have deleted it from here.

    After done the above, I can turn on the "Core isolation" with Windows 11 on my PC. Hope the above will be helpful to you too.

    Thank you so much for your suggestion! I tried that and while in there I found the OEM 35 and 61 that were affiliated also. Unfortunately after deleting those it did not work. But then I decided to run a search in the C Drive and I was able to find it and delete it.

    Now do I need to go back in and turn off the virtual machine platform and windows hypervisor platform or just leave them be?

    I finally found the BrUsbSib.sys file buried in a windows file

    "C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\brpom17a.inf_amd64_35497c253f5ddb29\amd64\BrUsbSib.sys"

    I didn't have OEM35 nor OEM61 in that folder, just a number of Brothers drivers that are two years old and probably from when I tried to update my printer drivers yesterday - big mistake!

    Seeing as how nothing else I've done is working, does there seem to be a problem with just deleting them?

    Deleting them from the C drive solved my problem. Hope it works for you as well! Good luck!

    Hello!

    Maybe one day you've installed the "Brother Utilities" application.

    If so, try to launch it and go to the "tools" section then click on "uninstall" (this will delete all thr brother's apps & their drivers)

    > You can also try to re-download this brother's app and do what I said early (because i'm not sure than the uninstall button from the app does the same that a normal app uninstall)
