BrusbSib.sys incompatible driver

The directions must be for Windows 10. When I input Windows + X there was no entry for "Terminal Admin".

I followed your advice and found Brother Drivers on oem24.inf, oem18.inf and oem32.inf.  I successfully deleted oem24.inf (the other two said that there was a conflicting files).  Anyway, I turned "ON" the "Memory Integrity” and it worked.  It also worked when I rebooted my PC.  Thank you very much for sorting my Brother Driver issue.

Hello, This problem is due to Drivers left behind while uninstalling the Utility Software. I am able to resolve this problem with the following steps:

1. Step 1: Press Windows + X
2. Step 2: Select "Terminal Admin" from the Drop Down List
3. Step 3: If Prompted for User Account Control, Click on "Yes"
4. Step 4: On the Command Prompt/Terminal, type the Command "pnputil /enum-drivers and hit "Enter"
5. Step 5: You will see a Drop Down List of all the Drivers Installed on your PC/Laptop
6. Step 6: Note Down the Publisher's Name of all the Drivers you are facing Problems with. In my case, they were oem46.inf; oem22.inf; oem135.inf; oem31.inf; oem79.inf; oem103.inf; oem134.inf; and oem67.inf
7. Step 7: Now on the Command Prompt/Terminal, type, "pnputil /delete-driver <Publisher's Name (i.e. like oem46.inf)> and hit "Enter"
8. Step 8: You shall get a message that "Driver Package Deleted Successfully"
9. Step 9: Repeat the Step 7 for all other Defective Drivers say oem22.inf etc. , one-by-one for all the Drivers noted Down in Step 5
10. Step 10: Now, Turn "ON" the "Memory Integrity"
11. Step 11: Reboot the System

Hope this shall help the community. I found this solution on the Net and it worked for me.

Here is what WORKED for me!

I used the above method HOWEVER, I found that the oem numbers mentioned in step 6 related to other manufactures (not brother) so I ignored these. I looked though the list one at a time and took note of any that had Brother as the provider name. With this new set of numbers (mine were oem27, 19, 29, 2, 10, 36, yours will probably be different again!) I continued on and deleted them one by one using step 7.

After a reboot now it allowed me to turn on memory integrity :)

Sorry for my late reply. Sorry again but it has been a long-time since I removed this file. I had the same problem needing admin rights and I think I logged on as Admin to delete. Anyway I hope that you have this sorted by now.

Hi, I did try this and it did delete the file. I then rebooted the PC but it still had the incompatible driver problem. I have, however, searched all the c: drive and found the file

C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\brpoi14a.inf_amd64_f6f4742370d7ad3d\amd64\BrUsbSib.sys

I tried to use File Explorer to delete the file but it said that I needed permission from 'SYSTEM' to delete it. Is there another way or deleting the file? By the way, I did try Autoruns but it couldn't find the file BrUsbSib.sys
