bottom right icons not working

All those icons in the bottom right of the taskbar do not work, no response despite left clicks on those icons. These include the volume, network, clock and notifications icons. The Action Center cannot be called out as well. However, those hidden icons under the "Up Arrow" work properly.

My desktop is running on Windows 10 Home version 21H2, the latest Windows update was just run yesterday.

The followings have been tried with no improvement:

a) System File Checker - sfc /scannow

b) DISM tool - CheckHealth, ScanHealth & Restorehealth

c) Powershell command

Get-AppXPackage | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

d) Renaming of UsrClass.dat file

e) Restart Windows Explorer

Anything else I can do to solve the problems?

    Hi Greg,

    Is the file downloaded from your suggested Microsoft Tech Bench already a ISO file that I can run on my desktop for a Repair Install? Or, is it a Media Creation Tool to create the Windows 10 install ISO?

    Also, it seems that your suggested link is not a Microsoft website, can I have another one directly from Microsoft please?

    Hi,

    I don't believe DISM checks for Registry corruption. It is safe to delete the key.

    Hi Greg,

    Thanks for the suggested tutorial, very informative.

    It seems that the Repair Install starts with the tool Media Creation Tool. I understand that this tool will bring my windows to the latest version, ie Windows 10 Home version 22H2.

    My existing one is still version 21H2 and I hope to keep it.

    Is there anywhere I can download the Media Creation Tool for Windows 10 21H2? Or other tool to carry out the Repair Install with my Windows 10 Home version 21H2 reserved?

    Also, any hint for the Bluetooth adaptor problem I mentioned previously please?
