bottom right icons not working

In visiting the motherboard maker's Support downloads web page, I note there are year 2021 versions of drivers for the following components:-

Realtek HD Audio Driver

Intel INF installation - chipset

Intel SATA Preinstall driver

Intel Graphic Driver

BIOS Driver

As my desktop is procured in 2018 as a assembled machine, I believe all of the above are newer than those in my system.

Which should I install? And how?

There are also other drivers grouped under "Utility", such as App centre & Fast Boot, I think I can ignore those at the moment.

If you are judging by Device Manager saying you have the latest driver, it's only scanning the driver folders in Windows and possibly Windows Update? That's not nearly enough. The most basic thing we need to learn to maintain Windows 10 is how to keep the latest manufacturer's drivers current. Window Update and Device Manager drivers are rarely enough.

When you compare the drivers from your PC or motherboard maker's Support downloads web page with the ones in Device Manager and BIOS version found by typing System Information into Search, does it show newer or branded (instead of generic) drivers to install?

If there is a new BIOS give me the link to the download, then PC make and full model number, and the installed verison, and I will find you guided help if it badly needs to be updated. If the PC is less than a year the mobo or PC maker's Support will guide you.

Sadly to report that the Upgrade with internet disconnected ends with another failure.

After installing up to 87%, a BSOD appears with stop code "Kernel_Mode_Heap_Corruption", then the system goes to the previous start-up.

The stop code for the first trial is "Kernel_Security_Check_Failure".

The gold standard Clean Install appears to be a complete new installation of Windows OS, removing all apps and data. It will then be a time consuming process to resume the system to its current status. Also, I feel puzzled with the steps for drivers, everything in the Device Manager screen appears to be normal, but the stop codes encountered appear to point to driver problems.

What I worry most is the possible modification of BIOS firmware, this step frightens me as I'm not confident to touch the BIOS, with the understanding that any slight issue during BIOS firmware may lead to serious problem.

My desktop can now serve my daily use, what I will lose in its current status is the connection of Bluetooth devices even with my newly procured Bluetooth adaptor.

Unless there is any other less time consuming and less risky way to solve the bottom right icons issue, I may stop my attempt right here.

Try disconnecting from the internet before starting the Upgrade over.

Note that the driver steps are so important they are printed in red.

The reason I suggest this install is that no one of millions who has done it has ever come back to report further problems I've seen, including another version failure. This is because everything in Windows 10 is dependent upon the quality of the install, especially Version Updates which will choke on lesser quality installs, and there is no possibility of problems if you stick ONLY with the steps, tools and methods in that tutorial.

It is also one of life's great learning experiences that will permanently make you the master of your PC because you will learn everything that works best and how to keep it that way.

The Repair Install fails.

In installing up to about 56%, a Windows blue screen comes out, error message of something like "kernel check failure" appears for 3 seconds. Then the system go back to previous start up.

Should I try the Repair Install once again?
