    As I understand the Windows Insider program for W11 is still ongoing with only compliant PCs now. I understand the build released for general public was the same build non compliant Windows Insiders were on. Build 22000.194. (correct me if I'm wrong)

    I would guess there will be at least a month before any build updates get released as they will be evaluated by the Insider team to ensure they are viable for general installation. I am not sure how this will work with installs for non compliant PCs, you may have reinstall a new build further in time from an updated Windows 11 Creators Tool.

    I've been working with this build on my 12 year old non compliant laptop since we install on 16th Sept from the Insiders program without issue. Updates for my apps come in as does Windows Defender without issue.

    @pburns57,

    Yes, the public release of windows 11 is Build 22000.194 no difference from the one currently on Beta Insider.

    The next Cumulative Update will probably be on Oct 12th.

    Many reports of problems with AMD processors, they will not wait a month to fix the bug.

    As for 12yrs old non compliant machine it was probably kicked out from insider, but it may still get updates at least until MS decides to block them.

    I installed Windows 11 22000.194 of 3 different unsupported machines 2 days ago and they all worked fine, getting all the Defender updates and MS Store updates, at least for now, time will tell.... 😎
