As per the previous announcement, Windows 11 will be released for the general public starting October 5, 2021. The rollout through Windows update would start today to the eligible devices and continue until 2022.

    Angry person here. Microsoft are behaving despicably trying to artificially force redundancy....in a world with logistics problems meaning new hardware is difficult to obtain, Microsoft are turning perfectly good PCs into eWaste! The environmental impact is awful.

    Take for example our two PCs with a i7 7700 and 7700K. Perfectly good processors, much higher spec and more capable than many of the processors on the "acceptable list" (e.g. the so obvious inclusion of the much lesser i5-7640X because MS use it in their own hardware).

    The environmental impact of Microsoft's awful decisions should be held against them as all these perfectly good PCs that are only a few years old become waste!

    What machines do you have ?

    Please help me, my pc using AMD Ryzen 5 2600g, PC health check said my pc didn't meet requiremet. But in the CPU supported list, AMD Ryzen 5 2600 is supported. So I can't understand why a CPU with no G behind is supported while a CPU with G behind is not supported. SO WEIRD
