As per the previous announcement, Windows 11 will be released for the general public starting October 5, 2021. The rollout through Windows update would start today to the eligible devices and continue until 2022.

    Current status as of May 17, 2022 (PT) **Windows 11 is designated for broad deployment.**If you are using Windows 10, you can determine if your device is eligible for the upgrade using the PC Health Check app or checking Windows 11 specs, features, and computer requirements. Note that you also need to be running Windows 10, version 2004 or later, and have no safeguard holds applied to your device.     With the next month's update, Microsoft is adding some improvements to Windows 11:

    Next month we’re bringing new experiences to Windows that include a public preview of how you can use Android^TM^ apps on Windows 11 through the Microsoft Store and our partnerships with Amazon and Intel, taskbar improvements with call mute and unmute, easier window sharing and bringing weather to the taskbar, plus the introduction of two new redesigned apps, Notepad and Media Player.

    November 2021 Windows non-security preview "C" release available all supported versions of Windows

    The November 2021 non-security preview release, referred to as our "C" release, is now available for Windows 11 and other supported versions of Windows. Release notes associated to this update contain information on the contents of this release, and are available for Windows 11 under KB5007262. You can navigate the release notes pages for information about the contents of this release on other Windows versions. To learn more about the different types of monthly quality updates, see our Windows 10 quality updates primer. To be informed about the latest updates and releases, follow us on Twitter @WindowsUpdate.IMPORTANT: There will be no preview, non-security “C” releases for Windows 10 or Windows 11 during the month of December. The "C" releases normally target the third week of the month. There will be a December "B" security update release, as usual.Highlights for the Windows 11 update:

    • Addresses an issue that causes Internet Explorer to stop working when you copy and paste text while using the Input Method Editor (IME).
