Well, I just commented on a Yahoo article as recently as yesterday. Also, when you comment on an article there and someone responds to it, you'll get an email notifying you and you can return to the article by clicking on the link in the email.

I started having an issue (very recently) with being able to answer a reply to my comments on MSN News. I can comment on a news article and someone will reply to that comment. When I open MSN News again and get a "reply balloon" on the bottom of the page and proceed to click on the text in the balloon (to bring up that page with the comments so I can respond), it now takes me to a "Microsoft Start" version of that page (with the colored blocks showing on the page tab instead of the MSN butterfly) which looks like the story as it appeared from its original source (like Reuters or Insider, etc.) that doesn't have the comments available or showing anywhere; it's completely different from the original MSN page.
I typically use Firefox but I’ve opened MSN in Edge and it’s doing the same thing, so the only way to comment on a reply is to bookmark the original MSN page when I comment, then get back to the page that way and hunt for the reply to my comment on a refreshed version of the page. As of now, I haven’t found a way to get it back to the way it used to act, so maybe this is new behavior with MSN News, but if so, it’s definitely not preferable to the way it used to be. This isn't some critical issue, but it's very annoying when trying to follow-up with replying to a comment response. (Windows 10 Pro, HP laptop)

2021-11-22T22:52:41+00:00 yeah...the lack of a search feature in the comments is irritating. That should have been a part of the comments sidebar from day 1. I got a reply a few days ago and the balloon function was working, but not sure about now. As you say, it's not working again, so I don't know if they'll get it fixed or not. Aggravating, to say the least.
