Windows 11 keeps dropping wifi

Recently installed Windows 11. The wifi remains connected for sometime and then after some time drops. Nothing I do can reconnect again. Only a complete restart fixes the wifi and then after sometime the connection gets dropped again. What can I do to fix this?

    I don’t know about the security on the wifi although my provider is local so I may be able to have a chat with them about it.

    Same here, it actually turns out that it is my WiFi network that is dodgy at best, so perhaps my complaints about Windows 11 are off base....

    In any case, I am going to see what my provider can do about it, and will check back!!

    I’m the same with the wifi although my provider is local so I may be able to have a chat with them about it.

    I did update windows yesterday, my son hasn’t played since the update so will see if that works.

    I am not savvy enough to know if I have one type of security on wifi and another type elsewhere. My wifi is provided by my cable television service. Maybe that hint will help another.

    I do want to say that my internet connection HAS NOT fallen off since I uploaded the latest Windows 11 Update which was pushed mid-October. I was nervous about it because sometimes an update just causes other bugs. But I am good so far.

    Try using a diffeent security on your wifi - I think it is actually a WPA 2.0 bug
