I cannot see how the Wifi security is the issue. I have no connection problems with Apple iPads or iPhones or a Google phone.
Windows 11 keeps dropping wifi
Recently installed Windows 11. The wifi remains connected for sometime and then after some time drops. Nothing I do can reconnect again. Only a complete restart fixes the wifi and then after sometime the connection gets dropped again. What can I do to fix this?

2022-10-22T14:48:06+00:00 Hi Salil-
I'm Kevin B. Windows user like you. I do apologize for the inconvenience, let me help you sort things out.
Kindly run network troubleshooter.
Go to settings > update and security.
Click troubleshoot.
Click internet connections.
Click run the troubleshooter.
See if the issue persists. If so, kindly reset your network.
On your settings go to network and internet
Click on network reset.
It will load and takes time to finish.
Wait for it to finish and restart your machine.
Connect to your WiFi again and see if the issue persists. Please let me know what will happen. Hope this will help and have a blessed day!
Thanks,
Kevin B.
Independent AdvisorThis simply does not work. I have tried multiple suggested fixes, but the problem persists. It seems that Microsoft is not interested or cannot produce a permanent fix.

2022-10-21T17:45:51+00:00 I don’t know about the security on the wifi although my provider is local so I may be able to have a chat with them about it.
Thanks

Same here, it actually turns out that it is my WiFi network that is dodgy at best, so perhaps my complaints about Windows 11 are off base....
In any case, I am going to see what my provider can do about it, and will check back!!
