Windows 11 Constantly Crashing

Has anyone figured out a way to get the Windows 11 OS to stop crashing? My computer is near non-functional as I can't even use it for more than 10 minutes.

And honestly anyone looking into downloading Windows 11 should NOT download.

Over the past week or so that I've had Windows 11 my computer has crashed at least twice a day and today it's crashed 5 times right after start up.

Please help!

Here is a synopsis of my battle on this issue: 1. Had problem since my purchase 6/23 of a Dell Inspiron 3910 (Intel 17-12700 with Win 11). Daily-not B/BSODs but freeze, like processor had lost its hearbeat. 2. MSFT/Dell no help. 3. I discovered W11 "Event Viewer" log (right-click Start) that shows hundreds of error message, citing errors by apps/drivers, many of them Msft & Dell. 4. Started a campaaign to update all apps/drivers noted, or uninstaalling them. 5. By 10/23, instances of PC freezes were down to reasonable, if not tolerabble level. 6. On January 19th '23, , Dell announced a critical BIOS update, & what do you know, THE FREEZES WENT AWAY!!! 6. Since, I have had a few random events, with Event Viewer logging errors by either Msft or Dell apps; I am afraid to monkey with them, so hoping that Msft/Dell eventually fix them.

I surmise that Msft changed some of the OS basic operating protoclols that caught harware/software suppliers by surprise, I would be happy to talk to Mfst/Dell about my experience .......Tom Hasty

Thank you. It is a highly manageable probably, eally, and i must mischew a tendancy to say ha!, that just proves wndows 11 is unstable. Have no idea what causes the situation, but I just have to stay on my toes all the time.

Most likely you have a hardware or driver issue. MS tier 2 support pointed to hardware on mine. The only major components I hadn't replaced were the MB and the CPU. But having replaced those now I still get black screen and GPU shutdown occasionally.

Trouble is, getting a lot of crashes can corrupt the OS files and force a reset or worse. And pinpointing the cause can be very complex. If I had it to do over again I would but the OS on its own drive so i wouldn't need to reinstall all the apps after it goes south. Still a pain though.

Windows is in denial that this is a problem. It might, just might be linked in my case to having a private wifi address (?).
