Windows 11 only has 45% of random write speed in Nvme SSD

An update on this: I uninstalled the secondary SSD (970 Evo Plus), so I now only have one SSD in the system (the 980 Pro), and now my 3DMark PCIe benchmark scores are back to normal, or close: 22.3GB/s, just a bit lower than my previous record of 23.5GB/s (this may be within margin of error, I don't think this particular benchmark is extremely precise). So the problem for that was just PCIe lane allocation; it persisted even after I disabled the secondary SSD in Windows's device manager, it seems the soft-disable is not good enough you really have to yank the thing out of the M.2 slot in order to free its use of PCIe resources.

But my Magician benchmark scores are unchanged, 160K random write. Still waiting from some good soul at Microsoft, Samsung or AMD to release a fix for whatever causes this.

Microsof where is the fix?

In begining i touth it was my 980pro and even contact tech support, they test it on Winfoes 10 and say all fine, but on W11 its work like trash ssd.

Your update does not fix my write iops, they stay at 400k.

But when i test not local disc C but other it shows 1 000 000 iop.

So how much time i must wait for fix?

i reinstalled win 10 on the addlink s70 nvme drive, crystal mark speeds back over 3500 read and over 3000 write even with 400gb of files on single partition. i haf cloned the win 11 system that was on the 1tb nvme drive to a 256gb sata ssd drive. and speeds were the same. which i suppose because its on different drive from nvme means nothing.

transfering between some platter hard drives i have seemed quicker as well by 30MBs per sec in win 10.

i think its to do with how much is on the win 11 system drive. what do other users think?

also it was my sequential read and write speeds i had issue with, other users seem to have had 4k issues.

im afraid now to update the win 10 to win 11 in future, if it aint broke dont fix it lol

just an update:

was going to clone win 11 to a 256gb ssd and then install win 10 on main addlink s70 1tb nvme. deleted or moved data so i could fit it on 256gb drive. the drive was 50% full before

once i was under 256gb the crystaldisk score went back up to 3042MBs but performance test stayed under 900MBs

im still going to clone and then install win 10 and do some tests on drive 50% full at under 256gb qnd maybe the drive partitioned with and with out extra 256gb of data.

ive just lost faith in win 11.

at least its not a ryzen issue like the cpu speeds issue last month.

dont get me wrong, but im glad to see an intel user is having the same problem, and its just not me lol but i do hope you get it fixed as well.

im not intel bashing but:

my rubbish n4020 cpu laptop, another intel 2520m laptop and two old pcs (intel q6600 and xeon x5670) with win 11 on them via a win 10 installer, are all intel so that was all i had to go on. write and read speeds are ok on them.

microsoft tried to fix it with their update but still have not solved it.

as its prob a small number of users they will not bother.
