What happened to the "Copy To" option in Windows 11 File Explorer?

I can't believe that Microsoft removed the "Copy To" and "Move To" options in Windows 11 File Explorer! I used these options often! Unless I'm missing something, Microsoft just heavy handedly removed these options!

I have grittted my teeth at times and soldiered on with W11 and there are many aspects I like now. I have got used to the Copy and Paste technique imposed, but I do miss the easy-to-spot icons (Windows 10).

As for File Explorer, I criticised the 'creeping Greeen Caterpillar' that used to inch its' way across, taking ages on a moderate CPU. I'm pleased to say this has now changed, albeit my present CPU is a more powerful Series 11 and searching a bunch of many thousands of files is commendably rapid.

I hope you can make adjustments to suit your own needs, but felt I should report back fairly.

So utterly predictable. I finally acceded to Microsoft's never-ending "Update to Windows 11!" and [Get Windows 11 before it's not free anymore]. Did it last weekend. It's Wednesday and I'm within minutes of reverting back to Windows 10.

I use the move document feature a lot, especially if shared via Slack channel. It's also invaluable when moving docs/folders to archival stage for local and/or offsite back up (not OneDrive - don't get me started).

It's not an intermittent action and the decision, as noted by others in this string, frustrates me immeasurably.

Does anyone know of a good reason why they did this? Is there a security issue? Is it part of a remediation schema to fix the dog slow File Explorer search feature? Why, why, why?

The button copy is here, but it stopped working after autumn 2022. I press the button, and the button paste does not appear until I make a copy from the "more choices" menu. I thought that I have some problem with my Windows copy, but then I discovered that the problem is present on my second computer. Strange.

This does not work. It just brings me to Control Panel. I hope "Windows" people are reading the feedback from frustrated users. How hard would it be for them to send an "Update" that restores this essential function of copying and moving files easily between different devices.

In addition, my computer is frustratingly slow since installing Windows 11. Not recommended. I wish I never installed it.
