Yes! I had to download the installation package and make sure it was "UK English", but once I did that, I suddenly had an option to "decide how you install updates", and once I changed that to "Don't", everything went swimmingly! Thank-you!

Every time I try to install Windows 10 through the Media tool I always stop at 73%. I tried to do it on a Clean Boot and it was the same. I also tried to remove the "read-only" and "system" attributes on the "$WINDOWS.~BT", but it doesn't let me change the "Read-Only" attribute on a file called boot.sdi and I don't know how to remove the "System" attribute.

2022-09-20T00:37:25+00:00 I had the same problem installing the latest version of Windows. I tried lots of "fixes" including fixing system files but nothing helped. I always stopped at 73%. Finally, I dug out an old version of Windows on DVD, version 14393 from 2016. It installed perfectly. More updates than usual were required but I feel it was a pretty good solution.
