the new feed i dont like because i have no option to turn it off like the popup web browser every time i connect to the internet. Window cannot be energy star complaint because it never lets the computers components like the hard disk to sleep USB 1,2,3 storage devices are hard to disconnect and i should have an out of the box experience of turn what i want on if i want it like start menu suggestions thats my menu i paid for a license for not for you to spam **** i never use and why would i want xbox of microsoft office i dont work in a office nor do i own an xbox and the audio subsystem has been flakey since windows 8.1 because your security says cut throat of legacy?

i'd prefer windows to be completely built on .net framework than all these old languages that layer on each other like a patchwork quilt because hackers pry at the stiches. But bottom line i dont want news in my face everytime i hover my mouse over the taskbar please put a switch on it. I already found a way to block it i havent watched television for oner 15 years because of news and i dont want to be forced into microsoft news because so far i think its an assault thats anti democratic and anti competative because perhaps i'd like to choose who spams me news as well. I'd love to have luxurious 0 day computer with super fast internet but i do not because my government treats me like a crack junkie for smoking tobacco extorting taxes from me (another reason i dont watch news) oh and lastly microsoft hasn't run properly on my AMD fm2 platform since windows 8.1 either with microsoft or oem drivers it seems you people just cut the throat out of legacy causing landfill. There isn't any milestones to justify it either and adding eye candy like this forcing surface web spam like this is brutally dangerous.

system restore point usually

The latest update keeps giving me a BSOD after restarting my PC to apply the update (I get a 'stop code page fault in non paged area').

I've tried everything I can find that applies to this error with no luck and Windows keeps downloading and reapplying the update after it repairs and removes it each time. The only solution at the moment seems to be to pause the update for 7 days which isn't really a great thing to do.

I've tried SFC; page file changes (un-ticking automatic; setting no page file; setting custom size); DISM; update troubleshooter; installing the update manually and some others with no success.

The May update installed fine (as have all others in the past) but the current one and optional one are both causing BSOD 'stop code page fault in non paged area' errors.

Any help would be appreciated.

*Edit: I fixed my own issue by downloading BlueScreenView from here to analyze the minidump files which pointed to a problem with ntoskrnl.exe:

To look further into this I downloaded Windows Debugger (WinDbg) from here:

which pointed to a problem with ArcSec.sys being the culprit so I used Autoruns for Windows v13.100 from here:

which allowed me to find and delete ArcSec.sys and after doing so Windows could install the update without further BSOD 'stop code page fault in non paged area' messages.

After this update on June 8, ALL of my pictures, documents and icons on desktop were gone, lost. AOL was even uninstalled. No other program was lost. Can not even recover pictures and documents. I want to know what happened!!!!!
