Hi once again,
I agree your point is true, but the point when AMD was in trouble and you mentioned about improvement in 2nd Gen to 5th or 6th Gen, they (Intell) actually thought that they have no competition or someone to compete at that time, hence they relaxed and did barely any improvements as they knew if they had no competition, whatever processors they make people are gonna buy it anyway, so that is their fault and if they would have actually improved at that time, who knows the current processors may have double performance than what we have rn.
Now to your marketing point of "Do you wonder why there...", I totally agree that, that is the case mostly but not with all, and to those people who think Windows 11 is useless, then why did Windows 7 users switched to 10? and then why XP and Vista users switched to 7, we could do all our work there right? Mainly because of performance, security & other features mainly, so is Windows 11, now let's change the scenario if the Windows 11 was an update to Windows 10 and not an upgrade, for example, named as Windows 10 21H2 Security update, but with the same requirements, meaning people with supported PC's will get that update and those not supported will be skipping that update, very few people would have been angry, it just in the mind of most of the people that "Oh A NEW OS!! I WANT IT" without even seeing the advantages and disadvantages.
We both are correct in our cases, but many people giving and complaining without any sort of research are making it worse.
A few days ago I saw a guy saying "I have an 8th Gen Intel processor it is performing beast why no support for it" he literally said so much and complaining so much...
I am not supporting, defending, or going against anyone, This is just my point.
THANKS!! AND STAY SAFE!!
