I don't believe then that article would apply and if that is the case If you try to apply the update it should say the update does not apply.
Can you check the following though:
In the C:\Windows\System32 locate and right-click the windowsudk.shellcommon.dll > Properties
Under the "General" tab what is the "Size"?
Then click on the "Details" tab
What is the "File version"?
No, it isn't.
It appears to be a similar error but may not apply to your case.
Is Host Integration Server listed in "Apps and Features" ?
