Blue screen: HTTP.sys error

recently started getting blue screen error when running Visual Studio 2019 and IIS Express application

    I have also started crashing multiple times per day after the recent windows update with this same scenario as the original poster. It is becoming nearly impossible to work in our code base due to this issue. We need a fix for this as soon as possible. The BIOS had been updated, we have no OC or any other suggested issue running... this is clearly a pushed updated causing the issue.

    Please. Fix this as soon as possible.

    It does seem they released a new http.sys on 7/13/2021

    I have experienced the same problem and have been able to resolve it by uninstalling KB5003637 - which appears to be the same update which introduced the weather widget on the task bar. http.sys is included in this update's list of files to be updated.

    I and 2 other of my collegues have resolved the problem in this way.

    Obviously the delay to any further windows updates must be applied as well or else it sneaks its miserable self back onto your machine.
