Blue screen: HTTP.sys error

    Hi, Windows Stand-alone installer says that the update isn't installed on my system. I checked this page and it says *something* about not being able to remove the LCU because of something related to SSU :-), so maybe it can't be removed? June 8, 2021—KB5003637 (OS Builds 19041.1052, 19042.1052, and 19043.1052) (microsoft.com)

    Hi,

    I am experiencing the same BSOD, but I am using VSCode latest and Chrome (latest) Developer tools. After so many refreshes of the browser, the BSOD throws and HTTP.sys is shows. This did not start to occur until today, I also have the June 8th update. There are various other machines with the same behavior, but we're not all triggering it the same way. We are using local IIS, not IIS Express on any machines that I know of. Some are using VS2019, others VSCode. Range of .NET Standard and .NET Core applications, doesn't appear to matter.

    I've been able to trigger it multiple times by deploying a new artifact to an ASP.NET application folder and then refreshing the site in the Chrome browser to pick up changes; do this a dozen or so times and BSOD throws with HTTP.sys.

    I've exactly the same issue. It started after june 8th update.

    It mainly happens when I reload a page that's running from IIS Express.

    Now it's really hard for me to develop without having a BSOD.

    Fernando, running the site in Local IIS seems to be a valid workaround for me. I haven’t had any crashes with it. You may want to try it, even though brentdowdy has experienced crashes even with that, too..

    I didn't mention that I'm currently working on a .NET Framework 4.7 project, so that couldn't be a choice.
