Blue screen: HTTP.sys error

recently started getting blue screen error when running Visual Studio 2019 and IIS Express application

I am also experiencing the same issue. I tried various troubleshooting steps. Even I clean installed Windows.

None of the solutions helped. I can pretty much reproduce the issue by using VS 2019 with IIS. As a workaround I'm using is VS debugging with Kestrel. But I started seeing a new error code yesterday.

I had the same issue on 2 machines, both Windows 10 (not latest Windows Update, H20 I think), VS19, IISExpress Chrome

Followed the instructions here (posted before by different user):

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
sfc /scannow

Then I installed the latest Updates (H21).

Both machines work now without a BSOD.

I added the registry key and have not had a GSOD/BSOD since. Thanks for providing this workaround, I'm now able to work again.
