KB5003690 BSOD

Not so fast! On installing this update.

Installed KB5003690 (tried) on five rigs. Three no issue, one refused to install, and worst of all one started BSOD constantly after installing. Removed from that rig and all was fine and returned to normal. Reinstalled KB5003690 to verify this was the issue and yes, the BSOD issues returned, again uninstalled and all returned normal again. I'm satisfied in saying that KB5003690 is / was the issue.

Well, if they never needed fixing, we would get bored. They (PT) had a release that some of us had issues with, they quickly resolved and the latest build 41.4 is fine.

I back up all rigs every week and before any Window updates.

Personal preference is O&O Diskimage. Worthy software.

    Oh, enjoy Power Toys.

I'm also having this same issue. I just reset my PC in order to try and correct it and I'm still getting a BSOD error. Can you help me? Here is my minidump file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/cbdc6glvf3sj2hm/070421-27062-01.dmp?dl=0

Did you restore or reset your comp. Did you check to see if that Update was still in your comp?

I did a complete reset with a full file wipe. I did eventually find a solution. I had to completely remove my sound card, video card and Ethernet card and reset again. That was the only way to avoid the blue screen. I have an Nvidia 970.

Does anybody know if Microsoft is looking into this issue? I got rid of the problem by uninstalling the June update, but am terrified it gets back when the update becomes mandatory. Also I have heard no clear explanation of the issue, in the three minidumps I have they point to different driver issues.
