And now they found out that the emergency patch to fix the security flaw doesn't even work!
Recommendation is not to install if you have issues or not. It doesn't work.

Not so fast! On installing this update.
Installed KB5003690 (tried) on five rigs. Three no issue, one refused to install, and worst of all one started BSOD constantly after installing. Removed from that rig and all was fine and returned to normal. Reinstalled KB5003690 to verify this was the issue and yes, the BSOD issues returned, again uninstalled and all returned normal again. I'm satisfied in saying that KB5003690 is / was the issue.

2021-07-08T12:11:20+00:00 Installed the 5004945, no BSOD's as with the 5003690, but still the same print spooling issues (pages are only 50% printed, then stop). Uninstalled the 4945 again, printing is fine. So seems some issues are solved, but not all.

2021-07-08T06:04:05+00:00 After installing KB 5004945 my Computer is now running for over 12 hours. No BSOD or other issues so far. Probably just good luck. I do not trust the situation...

2021-07-07T22:49:05+00:00 wushowhide.diagcab doesn't seem to work for me: i hid 4945 and it still shows up in windows update. even gave it a restart. it does not show up in the hide updates section and it does show up in the show updates section which makes me think wushowhide did it's thing, but windows update still sees it.
unless i didn't understand how to use it, but it seemed straight fwd. i did turn OFF Apply repairs automatically in the advanced section.
thoughts?
Make sure you have checked the box and I did use auto repair. Then look in the option to see what is hidden. Restart and the do an Update check. It should clear it out. If not let me know.
There is something else but shouldn't need to be done.

BTW it looks like it hid it from your screenshot. Use standard win update to check if it is there.
