Recently, I got a legion 5i, model T5-28IMB05. It's a great pc, it has good specs and it's really fast in games. However, since day one I've been getting random freezing issues. This happens absolutely randomly, but not so often - only once a day.
Whenever I'm doing anything (even something not power-intensive like browsing the web) my pc could freeze and bsod. This is how it looks like: the pc stays on a screen (freezes) then after about a minute it cuts to a blue screen and gives me an error message: DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION.
Every time my pc restarts after the bsod, my realtek audio drivers go missing, and there is no sound coming from the pc, as well as the audio device being hidden in device manager. Strangely enough, after a hard power off (holding the power button) the realtek drivers come back.
Another possibly related issue I've been having is that my wifi card just cuts out during large downloads like steam games. It will be going at full speed, until it drops to 0 mbs and kills the internet for my pc until I restart the wifi.
I've tried doing a fresh install of the newest nvidia driver, did the built in memory check twice, fixed registries with errors in them via a third party application, and I've even done a completely fresh install of windows from a usb stick.

Same issue here. Reverting to old graphics driver solves the issue.
Problem: To be able to play Battlefield 2042 (Beta) you need latest Nvidia drivers.
So now I can choose: Playing Battlefield with a PC that regularly freezes. Or not play Battlefield.
With ours, we finally traced it to the WIFI card in the machine. We’ve removed the wifi card and we’ll check back. The problem wasn’t with Nvidia experience because it wasn’t installed on the machine to begin with. When it froze we went into the system logs to find 10 errors logged with the wifi card before it crashed. This started for us when we installed Win 11 before it was released.
We will check back if it freezes again.

This worked for me. But does that mean I will never be able my Nvidia graphics driver? Because it's really the driver, it's okay if I revert to the old version
After a month of tracking, removing things, updating and replacing drivers, I finally found out the cause of my lock ups and BSOD's. It was my Logitech Unifying dongle. Outside checking the power to the SSD, I'd done everything mentioned in the posts above but nothing corrected it. Even turned off sleep and hybrid sleep to see if that was the issue, but no luck. It finally graduated from repeated lock ups to BSODs when I tried to run Verifier, where I was able to see it was an error with the Logitech unifying driver. Once I removed the dongle, no more issues. Weird. Mentioning only in case someone out there is like me and has tried everything else.
yes, i got that error from the latest driver as well as 471.41, so it's best to go with the drivers lenovo recommended on the drivers page for this PC, you can download it directly from there and just uninstall the driver you currently have
