Hi All -
I have a Lenovo Legion 5 and ran into the same problem when I installed a newer WIFI router. It took me some time to figure it out. At first I thought it was the Wifi Security toggle in the Lenovo Vantage. So, i had that disabled. When i moved to a new house and had a brand new Verizon Wifi 6 router, the problem re-occurred. Random Freeze, typically on boot. I restored the machine to a prior backup and all was well, until I connected to the Wifi Network. Then, I had the a-ha moment. It froze immediately. So, i was lucky enough to reboot and the Wifi Settings were NOT saved. And i went into Device Manager and forced the Wifi Adapter to A/N/AC mode only. So far so good. I have no idea why a newer WIFI network gives the adapter issues. But so far, this was the cuprit. Realtek 8822BE Wirele3ss Lan 802.ac PCI E NIC Properties. then under Advanced. Wireless mode changed from AUTO to IEEE 802.11a/n/ac
Click OK and restart. Good Luck!
