Hello,
I am in an analogous situation. With the caviar that my newly acquired laptop’s C: drive (or partition) seems to be encrypted with bitlocker, and thus I have no access to C:\windows\system32 or anything for this matter besides what seems to be an anemic recovery partition (also never received any bitlocker key with the new system, did not even know the C: partition was encrypted). It sounds really crazy that a diagnostic procedure so commonly used in Windows back in the day, now is creating so much grief. Any insights would be appreciated.
