This is a summary of the cumulative updates released on December 8th for all the supported consumer releases of Windows 10. This is the last release for Windows 10 1903 Home and Pro editons.

  1. Windows 10 version 2004 and version 20H2 - KB4592438, Build 19041.685 and 19042.685
  2. Windows 10 versions 1903 and 1909 - KB4592449, Build 18362.1256and 18363.1256

IMPORTANT Adobe Flash Player will go out of support on December 31, 2020. For more information, see Adobe Flash end of support on December 31, 2020. Flash content will be blocked from running in Flash Player beginning January 12, 2021. For more information, see Adobe Flash Player EOL General Information Page.

UPDATED 12/8/20

REMINDER Windows 10, version 1903 has reached end of servicing as of this release dated December 8, 2020. To continue receiving security and quality updates, Microsoft recommends that you update to the latest version of Windows 10. If you want to update to Windows 10, version 1909, you must use the Enablement Package KB4517245 (EKB). Using the EKB makes updating faster and easier and requires a single restart. For more information, see Windows 10, version 1909 delivery options.

    Hello, just updated to Windows 10 version 2004 and version 20H2 - KB4592438, Build 19042.685 about an hour ago. My laptop now has a blinking orange light on the battery indicator, indicating a critical battery error. I have tried disabling and uninstalling the 2 battery drivers on my device, as well as doing a full system shut down. When I unplug the laptop from the charger, it still remains powered on, but the light still blinks, and the percentage shows as 100% and 10 hours of battery remaining. When I plug it in, the battery continues blinking and also shows 100% and fully charged. In doing a battery report, it's showing that I have 36,260 mWh remaining.

    I changed my laptop's battery about 2 months ago, and the charger is working (obviously because it's showing as charging and fully charged).

    I'm unsure of what this issue is, but I would like the light to stop blinking. Any ideas or tips? I would prefer not to have to open my laptop up again just to remove the battery and put it back, if at all possible.

    With all respect Paul, the link you posted which you say "you can go to the original post here" takes you back, as it says in the link, to the December updates. I was of course talking about last months, not this unless you want me to do the full list of issues and repost the images again in here which is again more delays to getting my issues resolved?
