By any chance, do you know what to do if, when I try to install Windows and get to the screen asking where to install, there are no drive partitions? I spoke with a customer support representative who didn't know what to do at this point (the post is here) and said the best solution was to replace the device for $500.00. Something I cannot afford as I'm going through chemo in the middle of the pandemic, and frankly isn't something I should have to bear the cost of when a forced update by Microsoft caused the hardrive to be corrupted beyond repair. Any suggestions would be a big help.

2021-01-24T05:03:13+00:00 Were you able to resolve this issue? I had the same problem and posted about it here. I'm told the best solution is to replace the device for $500.00. A cost I have to bear even though it's a **** forced Windows update that completely destroyed my hardrive. Let me know.

2021-01-24T04:47:58+00:00 Were you able to resolve the issue? I had a similar problem that I posted about here, and I was told the best solution was to replace the device for $500.00. Something I cannot currently do because I have cancer and am going though chemo in the middle of a pandemic. And frankly, none of us should have to pay to replace our devices when a forced update by Microsoft that clearly wasn't tested properly destroyed our hardrives to the point they're irreparable. Let me know if any solutions provided resolved your issue.

2021-01-24T04:38:22+00:00 The update completely corrupted my hardrive to the point where I can't even recover or reinstall Windows through the USB. I posted here to which I've received no response. After spending several hours over the course of the past week speaking with customer support, I was told the best solution was to replace the device. A device I'm told I have to pay $500.00 for even though this forced update, which I had no control over, destroyed my surface pro 6. Sounds like Microsoft is going the Apple route of purposely causing issues for customers in order to force them to purchase replacements or new devices. Let me know if you get a helpful response that resolves your issue. I'd appreciate it.
