    Thanks u so much, i installed new ssd along with windows. So u mean that i shall open the cover and see the motherboard if the key is written there?

    If the SSD died then you need to install windows to a new SSD. The licence is registered against the major hardware (motherboard) and so long as you install the same edition (Home or Pro) it will autoactivate. You don't need to know the key.

    I am using hp envey 2019 i put windows 10 in update after awhile the M.2 (SDD) has died and i lost all my data even the windows key.
