driver updates greyed out

when  i go to windows update history nothing shows up, and  drivers are greyed out. is there something wrong

 what do i need to do?

    so that update wipe out all my apps  and programs it is like  strting fromscratch with  2004  If i am understanding that correctly.  so it is like a reinstall updating that

    Mary, I am not annoyed but you still did not answer what is wrong with your User account?

    If you want to try to get Windows Update working to install the latest updates, then I gave you the steps in my first post. I can help you if you want to try those one at a time. Or you can install Version 2004 and it should fix the problem and bring you up to a more recent version. Either way I said I would help you and will if you want to try.

    and you have given me   answers  as to how  but as i stated I am  asfraid to try it  on my own. I guess I am not giing you  the responses you need I am not sure what else i can say.  thank you for your help But it appears you are getting irritated with me so  i will thank you for everything and stop  asking ny more stupid questions. You have  benand are helping  me greatly. is it imprative to install the 2004  update or the 20H2 update

    I am using version1909 and  i go to  the windows update  and got update history page is  blank  the last update was 12/7. there are no other updates no driver update no app updates since that  i can go to windows up date and run it  and after a bit it says  you  are  up to date  then it says  that the 20 h2  needs to be updated   .  yes you did  tell me  how and where   the 2004 up date is and how to get it  and  as   i said I doubt myself doing it. That is why I wanted someone   to remote connect. I am not sure i thought i had been answering what you asked
