driver updates greyed out

when  i go to windows update history nothing shows up, and  drivers are greyed out. is there something wrong

 what do i need to do?

    well there in lies another proble about administrator  when my nephew set it up after the reinstall  he had it set to  a different nae hen i have no   he had a password and a pin which i did not want  so  i changed the name and got rid of in and password  everything that comes up now says Murf377   my  microsoft  account email.  everything  in   appdata users says that Murf377> i am not sure what that will do  if  i try to update  the way you suggest. in users  there are 4 categories default,which has limited things in it then there is the murf377 ![](https://learn-attachment.microsoft.com/api/attachments/c1f10f80-19a4-4f2b-8909-77a76989de1a?platform=QnA

    It sounds like WIndows Update is up to date> So Is the only problem you're having now that the Windows Update history is empty?

    that is why i need a remote connect to have someone who knows what to do do it.I am still afraid to mess up even with your good explanation. I have messed up so many times on  windows 7 and on 10 i spend more time with   dell and in Geek squad trying to fix my mistakes, I am actually crying here  i know that sound dumb  and petty but That is how I am  when  I mess up something  because of my incompetence. I would have thought you would have gotten tired or  frustrated with me and just said I am not going to help  her anymore
