when i go to windows update history nothing shows up, and drivers are greyed out. is there something wrong
what do i need to do?

It sounds like WIndows Update is up to date> So Is the only problem you're having now that the Windows Update history is empty?

I have messed up so many times on windows 7 and on 10 i spend more time with dell and in Geek squad trying to fix my mistakes, I am actually crying here i know that sound dumb and petty but That is how I am when I mess up something because of my incompetence. I would have thought you would have gotten tired or frustrated with me and just said I am not going to help her anymore

2021-01-04T02:57:33+00:00 Mary - That's why I said to double click the file, to mount it. See, that explains how to do it. If it isn't clear then ask back.
You'll then see a bunch of files. Right click Setup file to Run as Administrator. This will upgrade to Version 2004, which is only halfway to 20H2 and shouldn't cause the same problems but hopefully will fix your Update history issue if the steps in my first post didn't.
But if you don't want to do this even with my help, then let's go back to Windows Settings > Update & Security > Windows Updates and choose Check for Updates. What happens? Does it find Updates to install?
