Windows won't boot, no "reset" option available

Hi all, really need some help here. My laptop turns on but Windows won't boot. The sequence is:

  • Dell logo, with "please wait" sign
  • Choose your keyboard layout
  • Choose an option > Troubleshoot OR Turn off your PC

There is no "RESET MY PC" option at any point.

I have tried all of the Troubleshoot options, including:

  • System restore (no restore points available)
  • Startup repair
  • Uninstall updates ("We ran into a problem and won't be able to uninstall....")

I created a bootable USB / installation media, clicked F12, selected boot from USB....
This leads me to the same menu above (only Troubleshoot OR Turn off your PC --- no option to Reset my PC).

Any suggestions??? Diagnostics show terrible battery quality so I ordered a new one, but is the battery likely to be the full problem...?

    Everything looks ok except for the repeat of Windows Resume Application.

    Let's try deleting the hibersys.fil

    del /a C:\hibersys.fil

    reboot.

    Can you send a link to that youtube video if you can find it again?

    Hello. This all started when my laptop is lagging then I did force shut down. But when I turn it on it is still lagging so I did the force shut down again. Next thing that happened was when I enter my correct password it says "incorrect password". I know 100% that my password is correct. So I did some cmd prompt I found in youtube to fix it but obviously it did not solve my problem. Infinite boot loop is now happening to my laptop and today is it's 2nd day. I hope you can help me with this (｡•́︿•̀｡)

    Ok. Everything so far looks good.

    select partiton 1

    assign letter s

    exit

    dir /a s:\efi\microsoft\boot\bcd

    Should find bcd file. Let’s check the contents.

    bcdedit /store s:\efi\microsft\boot\bcd /enum all

    Post the output.

    Can you alao explain how your non boot to Windows goes?
