    (1) You've got a Legacy install. So switching BIOS to UEFI most likely will not boot as it expects to find an EFI partition. But all BIOS are not the same. I think some allow UEFI with CMS (Compatibility Support Module) at the same time. Those might be able to boot either at the same time. I really don't know. I guess you could try it, but quickly revert if it fails. Should cause no harm, but do quickly revert if unsuccessful.

    (2) Looks like your computer is trying to do an automatic repair...

    (a) Did you let it sit at least a half hour to see whether it will finish?

    (b) Once, for me, when one of those failed, it worked to do my own. I know you've tried before, but maybe now it's closer to success....

"Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > Startup Repair"

    (c) Is that the screen you still get after doing AamazingTech2's "BCDBoot"?

    (d) Show me another:  "BCDEdit  /Enum  All"

Can you show us what in the registry now?

    regedit

    Select HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE

    File - Load Hive...

    E:\Windows\System32\Config\SYSTEM

    SYS

    Select HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYS\ControlSet001

Your partitions are not GPT so UEFI boot is not an option at this point. I will try on my system if it will work but in the mean time let's recreate your BCD.

    attrib -s -h c:\boot\bcd

    ren C:\Boot\BCD BCD.sav

    bcdboot E:\Windows /s C:

    Reboot

    With regedit![](https://learn-attachment.microsoft.com/api/attachments/2eed794b-d87b-49db-8059-372ced335f68?platform=QnA recreate BCD

![](https://learn-attachment.microsoft.com/api/attachments/229881d0-c89c-4d61-8980-28b752469bbd?platform=QnA after recreate BCD and restart my computer it's come same black screen with spinning dots
