Seriously, Microsoft...the company needs to start paying people that have to deal/troubleshoot these widespread issues. If performing an in-place upgrade fixes these problems "each time" it happens, what might Microsoft have to say about the fact that this is now the 3rd time I've had to do such a thing, on the same computer, because one of these stupid updates that doesn't "take" or "stick".
Just when I think Windows can't get any worse, it does. It used to be that every other "version" was a joke, but Windows 8, 8.1 and now 10...comical. Windows 10 is a disaster - always has been, always will be with this Software-as-a-Service approach.
How about you stop the madness and eliminate the "build" releases until you can get your act together on the endless number of updates (that wreak havoc). Bells and whistles don't mean a thing if the environment isn't stable.
Same problem with Subhajit Nandi (2020)

up same issue.
Hi John, you main recommendation was " waiting for the next week". That was last year in December. Can you check if the bug is being fixed. Now its almost 3 months later. I'm getting the error every day when the machine tries to download the March 9 update.
