Windows 10 mail printing on one quarter of page

Today, I printed an email from Windows 10 Mail.  The Mail app version is Version 16005.13426.20316.0.  I printed by clicking the "..." at top right, then selecting Print.  I was printing to letter sized paper.  Print preview looks normal.  However, when I print, the print is compressed into 1/4 of the page, and is so tiny as to be illegible.  The entire page prints in the top left quarter of the paper.

Printing a test page is normal.

Print from Word is normal.

I have tried more than one emails from Mail, and they print the tiny version to the top left quarter of the sheet.  It happens whether I print on one side or double-sided.

Here is the print preview (normal).

Here is a scan of the paper sheet.  The actual printout is only in the top left corner.

It's the same on my Brother MFC-L2740DW. But I don't print them much, so not sure when it started. It's a pity, my printer can enlarge, but the Windows printing interface doesn't present that option.

Hmm, as suggested by MCHunting at that HP site Ian_574 posted, Outlook works fine. So, just type Outlook.com into Search, & print it from there. That is where Mail is getting its stuff from.

I have exactly the same issue. I am printing to an HP 6975 OfficeJet Pro.

Fortunately I can print my mail from the Xfinity Connect mail host domain or my iPhone without any problems. Two days sgo I raised matter with Windows Support who, despite my better instincts, took me through trial and error scenarios ( PowerShell, uninstall/re-install Mail App, Sytem Restore, Mail,Calendar updates) for 3 hours.

I got the distinct feeling that I was educating them to an ussue they had no kniwledge of!
