This has not gone away and has returned assuming with the last update Windows V. 10.01941 B. 1904,
Windows 10 mail printing on one quarter of page
Today, I printed an email from Windows 10 Mail. The Mail app version is Version 16005.13426.20316.0. I printed by clicking the "..." at top right, then selecting Print. I was printing to letter sized paper. Print preview looks normal. However, when I print, the print is compressed into 1/4 of the page, and is so tiny as to be illegible. The entire page prints in the top left quarter of the paper.
Printing a test page is normal.
Print from Word is normal.
I have tried more than one emails from Mail, and they print the tiny version to the top left quarter of the sheet. It happens whether I print on one side or double-sided.
Here is the print preview (normal).
Here is a scan of the paper sheet. The actual printout is only in the top left corner.

2021-03-30T23:35:42+00:00 It is good to know the MS Mail print problem hasn't returned. Last I knew it was still gone. Now I've printed a page with Wordpad, & it printed well -- but I'm unsure that's the same as MS Word. Thanks for your input,

2021-03-30T22:39:38+00:00 That sounds just like the MS Mail print problem that came & went on its own. I hope that one hasn't come back too now. I rarely print from MS Mail or Word. Anyway, this optional cumulative update at least mentions the printer...
March 29, 2021—KB5000842 (OS Builds 19041.906 and 19042.906) Preview
"Enables Windows to retrieve updated printer capabilities to ensure that users have the proper set of selectable print options."
Click for it at "START, Settings, Update & Security, Windows Update". It took a bit over an hour to download & install all told. Don't think it's doing nothing when sitting at 22%.
I agree I my problem went away on it's own and I never did get a reply from Microsoft. I have had no problems since.

2021-03-30T09:40:31+00:00 I have the same problem with my Brother MFC 9970cdw. However; it's only word documents. PDFs print fine. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers and the issue remains. It's very frustrating and wasting much of my time trying to figure it out. All settings look fine, test page printing works fine. But just after a windows update a few days ago, every page from a word document started printing completely in the upper left corner. Help!!
