Windows 10 20H2 feature update causes lags, freezes, slow performance

I installed the Windows 10 20H2 update about a week ago, and since then my computer constantly freezes. These tasks aren't computationally demanding - watching videos in the browser or Spotify etc. I read there were some known issues with the update affecting network connectivity as well as general performance issues, but I've tried to install the patches for this and they're "not applicable to my device".

I have a series of driver updates but nothing else in my "optional updates" section. Should I try these? Are there pending patches for this update yet to be released? Worst case scenario, can I just roll it back completely?

    I also installed 20h2 update, 12 days ago. Since then, many apps, including Edge and Chrome, always take forever to start (10+ seconds). However, once the software is launched, I don't have any slowdowns, or freezes, it's only at startup. All my drivers are up to date, and my PC config is more than decent (intel 8700k, 32GB RAM, SDD M2, geforce 1080TI). So, why is it happening ? Why is there no clear official answer ?

    windows 1903 has no problem. but when i had it to  1909, 20H2 many things created a lot of:

    1. functionality of an installed  app example Bible CD4 has VB run then close issues.  in other words, cannot use it. tried to install and reinstall, no avail. I discovered 16 bit though the set up was 32 bit  did work.
    2. when browsing pictures 1st, 2nd & 3rd drives, cannot preview the images, you have to click using picture app to see it individually. options like small , medium or large  icons are yes purely icons cannot see it. you have to see details to identify pictures inconveniently. 
    3. when i watch you tube or any movie from the web a short period of time, i cannot use file explorer, quick access freezes, i thought it was my hard drive, RAM , CPU or even my video card, since i have the same hardware and back up. checked anti-viruses update or definition, yep. 
    4. Videos : matroska videos format cannot play unlike before, i had k-lite codec player . Icons of folders  no image. tried to check settings and player associations still didn't work. normally as it should. 1607  is better. since 1903-tolerable but 1909 too much 20H@ unbearable. using H310 chipsets, 8Gb RAM , 1Tb of MBR, I3 CPU MSI.
    5. check the thermal paste both video card and processor, GT 710 Palit.  i switched back to 1903. I hope Microsoft could look into this.

    Experiencing similar issue, lag, overall slowness compared to prior to this update.

    Delays in displaying menu, pop-ups, applications are slow to launch.

    I rolled back to the previous version of the new update and it fixed my issues.
