I am trying to install KB4592438 for Windows 10 20H2. The patch is downloaded without any issue. But the installation fails and the screen starts showing - Undoing changes Don't turn off your computer. The error message is - Some update files are missing or have problems. We'll try to download the update again later. Error code: (0x80070003).

2020-12-15T19:09:09+00:00 None of the said things work for me either, and I can verify that it is not about the OS version or space. I have 3 laptops at home, an Asus ROG, an Asus Zen, and an MS Surface Pro 7 with completely different setups, disk spaces, even operating system language.
So far, all are giving errors. My company's IT people tried to fix them to no luck. It seems this build (like half of all this update charade) is faulty.
Also, since I already used the 28-day pause, now I am disabling updates every other day through services.msc to work without valuable time lost to rerolls and uninstall of update files.
I am this close to switching to Apple for all my work stuff. This is becoming ridiculous.

2020-12-15T23:33:35+00:00 Well, looks like we have exhausted every option to get Updates running. After four days and six different support techs, all recommended attempts have failed. Some of the options included: DISM, SFC scannow, chkdsk... etc. Even a Win Reset failed!
Looks like the only remaining option is to backup all files and completely reinstall Win 10.
This whole lack-of-interest on Microsoft's part is pathetic. Either something is wrong with the KB4592438 update or a previous update compromised the PC. The number of replies on this issue speaks for itself. Gosh, I miss Win 7 :-(

2020-12-16T01:53:48+00:00 Ok, this is getting ridiculous. I've tried everything except reinstalling Win10 which is really stupid because if you need to install a new OS to complete an update why don't you just make a Win11 at this point? It is extremely frustrating !!!
