Cumulative update December 2020 - KB4592438 Failed to install

I am trying to install KB4592438 for Windows 10 20H2. The patch is downloaded without any issue. But the installation fails and the screen starts showing - Undoing changes Don't turn off your computer. The error message is - Some update files are missing or have problems. We'll try to download the update again later. Error code: (0x80070003).

    I tried to reinstall windows 10 on another little 120 gb ssd to see if there was maybe a probleme with hardware compatibility (amd r5 3600, x470 msi or drivers for my system)

    The installation of this kb4592438 successed and all was up to date without any troubles...

    i have the same problem. i tried the SFC and DISM commands, but still no change. now am trying to install the offline installer of this update (link : https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=KB4592438)

    and it may help cause when you download from the windows update center some files may be missing so...

    I'll let you guys know whether it works when you download the offline installer.

    same problem with this update. works ok on my very old surface pro but not on my recently bought HP Laptop.  Some update files are missing or have problems. We'll try to download the update again later. Error code: (0x8007000d . I have 402 gb of space on my C drive.

    I have the same problem, because I try to install this update from Windows update. It appears the same messages, as you. But error kode is 0x8007000d
